Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHE-Q) is another focus point of OCTOMAR to be at all times at the highest level of international standards.

OCTOMAR has a dedicated SHE-Q manager that is part of the management team and controls if all the work performed is done in a safe and environmental friendly manner.

Regular visits to site and also to the client are essential to get the safety values in line with the high international standards.

OCTOMAR ensures the provision of a comprehensive, service-orientated package whilst maintaining a consistent standard. To achieve this aim, OCTOMAR has implemented and utilizes an Integrated Management System (IMS) developed in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO14001 and OSHAS 18001.

The IMS encompasses various aspects of importance, including Quality Assurance, Environmental Protection and Safety Management; and incorporates these components into standard operating practices and work procedures. OCTOMAR believes that through good management practices and an integrated management approach we are able to encourage and instill in our personnel a culture of results through good Quality and Safety practices.

It is this commitment that equips OCTOMAR with the necessary management tools to meet the goal of conforming to and, where possible, exceeding the requirements of Clients’ and International standards.

OCTOMAR is IMCA certified and always employs IMCA certified dive personnel and has recently acquired ISO 9001:2015 certification.
